Narative vizuale concepute de tineri europeni: cartea de benzi desenate eSAT
Visual narratives of European youth: eSAT comic book Our eSAT project targets young people aged 18-24. Nine young people from Romania and Bulgaria participated in the project, while eight volunteers joined from Slovakia and Hungary each. The young participants engaged in a coordinated visual storytelling training aimed at delivering the European Youth Strategy in an understandable and engaging manner, with the development of a comic book.

During the visual storytelling training, young volunteers enriched their narrative skills, resulting in the four stories of the comic book that showcase elements of the EU Youth Strategy. Three stories cover different action areas of the strategy: Inclusion, Connection, and Empowerment. The fourth theme, Mental Health and Well-being, was defined by the volunteers themselves. Working in international teams, the young people wrote the stories, with some contributing with illustrations as well. After the comic book was completed, they actively promoted it among their peers to ensure as many young people as possible could learn about the message of the EU Youth Strategy and the opportunities it offers.
In addition to the English version, the comic book was also produced in the languages of all eSAT partner countries (Bulgarian, Hungarian, Romanian, and Slovak). Printed copies were made available in each version, and the comic book can also be downloaded as an app on both Android and IOS mobile phones.
